WordMaster helps you complete those difficult crossword puzzles where there are few letters you cant figure out. Just fill in the letters you know in the letter boxes, leaving blanks for the missing letters then tap the Search button. The matching words will appear in a blink giving you narrower options for the answer.

WordMaster can also save you from losing a other word game by using the Anagram word finder. Enter all the letters you have and let it find the absolute valid words.

You can use WordMaster to check spellings, of course. If the device is connected to the internet, you can also view word definitions on the web.

WordMaster includes following word lists:

A very good app for crossword help, never tried it with word games. Its missing a multiword feature for anagrams, which can be found on A:C Assistant. With it this app would be worth top marks.

I have been using TransCreative products for about 5 years and have found that there products are just so well thought out and easy to use. As soon as I saw this I purchsaed it as I know that it will be of great assistance when trying to solve crosswords. I had sent some suggestions to the developer in the past both for the Iphone versions and the PDA versions and have always had a positive and almost immediate response. If you are a fan of word games that are anagrams or scrambles, then then app is for you! Of course, the point of such games is to figure it out, but sometimes there is that elusive word... Anyway, WordMaster has an extensive library, and different settings for various uses (crosswords, anagrams, etc) and also has the Scrabble word lists to get you an upper hand on smug friends when playing. I bought this app when it was new, and I have been exceedingly pleased ever since. The developer responds to inquiries promptly and professionally, and is very willing to help. If every app and developer was like this one, I would be much happier!

Great app. To make anagrams work for Scrabble, etc just go to settings and deselect "Search full anagrams only"

All the words I tried was there. Include the definitions also. Worth the money.

This app is the most professional design in its category. Very fast customer support! Recommend.

Some bad moments

I would have gladly rated it with five stars, but Im not able to use the anagram feature. I only get a response that says "no matches", so fixing that issue would make it a great app, until then - Im one unsatisfied consumer. But I agree with a previous reviewer - adding the ability to search based on the number of letters in the new words is a great idea. Ill change my review if I am able to get it working the way I expected.

I thought this actually had crossword puzzles! It doesnt wasted my money. :(

Simply doesnt work for me - every combination of letters gives "No Matches" - the app isnt working. I have data turned off on my phone and Im using wifi only - is that the problem? Useless.

Every single puzzle word Ive tried came up empty even with only one letter missing.

Works very well and very fast. Would like to see option for anagram words to be viewed in number of letter listing: 2 letter, 3 letter, 4 letter, etc. and support for the landscape mode. Money well spent!

This app cant find words and refuses to connect to the Internet. Lame
